New Applicant Information

The Royal Adelaide Show is seeking 200 volunteers to help deliver the annual ten-day event, to be held 1st September to 10th September this year.

There are 900 shifts up for grabs to people who love to give a helping hand. Being a volunteer is a great experience and gives insight into how the Show works behind the scenes.

Volunteer roles at the Show include kiosk attendants, information desk assistants and Yellow Brick Road helpers, as well as many others. Volunteers must be friendly, helpful, enthusiastic, provide outstanding customer service and be committed to working in a team.

Volunteers, who must be 18 years or older, will receive entry to the Show, a uniform (shirt, hat and lanyard), meal vouchers and parking permit in return for their assistance. Volunteers must be able to assist for a minimum of three days during the ten days of Show, with the average team member helping out for six days. There are also a limited number of roles for volunteering pre and post Show.

People interested in joining the fantastic team of volunteers should come to an hour-long volunteer information session on Friday, March 31 at 10:30am or Saturday, April 1 at 2:00pm. To register, please email volunteer@adelaideshowground.com.au or call us on 8210 5211.
