Atrium Food Court (L7-N7)
The undercover food court between the Goyder and Wayville pavilions offers a wide range of options for the whole family. Family Value Pack vouchers can be redeemed at Atrium Food outlets.
Boulevard Precinct (H4-H6)
The Boulevard precinct will be new and improved in 2017. Nestled amongst the trees and surrounded by lush lawns the Boulevard will be the place to relax and refresh with a mix of old favourites and new outlets.
Kingsway Gourmet (E8-F8)
Kingsway Gourmet, offers a range of plated and gourmet meals and licensed dining featuring live music. The bar offers a large range of Coopers beers and D’Arenberg wines.
Crepes and the new 196degree liquid nitrogen icecream van are just some of the dessert options on offer.
JamFace by Poh - TasteSA Dining (F9)
The restaurant in the TasteSA Pavilion will be the home of Poh Ling Yeow and her JamFace team. Since rising to fame as the runner up on the first season of Masterchef Poh has gone from strength to strength hosting Poh’s Kitchen and Poh & Co, writing a series of cookbooks, and running popular food outlets at the Showground’s Farmers Market and Adelaide Central Market. Poh and her creative team will bring their unique Malaysian inspired menu to the licensed dining area in the TasteSA Pavilion.
The Bull Bar & Carnivore (G14)
The Bull Bar will be joined by Carnivore offering a range of American style eats, straight from their suspended fire pit. Featuring pork ribs, buffalo wings, grilled corn with coriander & smoked paprika and a housemade slaw.
Red Dove Café has Moved (L15)
A tradition continues in a new home – The Red Dove Cafe, run by the Uniting Church, has picked up and moved their operations to a flash new building in the horse precinct (South East corner). The new facilities offer a comfortable enclosed dining room and a new and improved menu. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as anytime in between.
Arena Lounge – Dining and Unwinding (F10)
Nestled under the Members Grandstand you can drop in for a sneaky Coopers Ale or stay a little longer and sample some of D’Arenberg’s finest wines. The winery will be doing formal tastings as well. Relaxed, pub style dining is available lunch and dinner with all day options.
Jubilee Café & Golden North (J7)
The Jubilee Café is the hub of the Showground year round and at Showtime it transforms into the home of the ever popular $2.50 toasties. Golden North will be right next door as the exclusive icecream supplier, offering a cheap and cheerful $2.50 soft serve cone!
New and Novel
Here are some of the new and novel options for 2017
- Curly’s Dogs & Fries– fully loaded hot dogs with chips or if you are up for the challenge or have some friends, turn heads with their 1m long Kransky!
- Cotton Candy Icecreamery– Soft serve from Golden North is great but when you add fairy floss and candy it becomes AWESOME
- Bodeans Bravarian Haus) – you won't miss this monster outlet on the Boulevard serving authentic tasty German food – pork knuckles, 10” sausages, pretzels & more.
- Bloomin’ Onions– This Show stopper is worth a try. Battered in a tasty, flavoured spice mix and deep fried, the onion is served up with a creamy dipping sauce. If this is a little too adventurous for you try some onion rings in an Angas Beef Burger.
- Storm Floss– Floss no longer just comes on a stick, in a bag or a bucket you can now get it as a mutli-coloured flower or even a duck shape.

Cellar Door Experience

Wine: An initiative of the South Australian Wine Industry Association (SAWIA), in conjunction with the Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society, the Cellar Door Experience offers five FREE, 20 minute educational wine tasting presentations each day. The Cellar Door Experience partners with other Show exhibitors, to include food and wine pairing in two of the five sessions.
Attendees get to sample up to four wines in each session, guided by a professional wine educator and an SA food ambassador. This is a great way to learn about wine in a relaxing setting, and to discover more about South Australia’s diverse wine and food producing regions.
Beer or Cider: FREE Tasting sessions will offer an overview of characteristics and styles from industry experts.
Olive Oil: Three FREE tasting and education sessions on how to appreciate the best of SA Olive Oil.
All free Cellar Door Experience education sessions are limited to 40 people per session, they are offered on a first in, best dressed basis.
Dairy Food Hall
The Dairy Food Hall is the place where visitors can sample plenty of dairy products such as cheese, yoghurt and ice-cream from a range of dairy companies showcasing their produce including B-d Farm Paris Creek, Golden North, Andersen’s, Gelista, Mini Melts, Wendys, Jalna Dairy Foods and Westhaven Dairy, The Yoghurt Shop and Farmers Union Iced Coffee. Cheese Toasties for $2.50 are also available.
The old-fashioned Milkshakes continue to be on offer. Fleurieu Milk have moved their stand adjacent to the Milk Bar, to showcase their range of products in this new fully themed northern area of the hall and will be part of the Yellow Brick Road.
This area is a popular feature and once again it will present an abundance of gastronomic delights to see, try and buy. The aromas, flavours and colourful displays will tempt and entice you to visit the food, wine and coffee stalls to taste as you go. This is just the place to appease the hungry hordes with a “take home pack” of your favourite gourmet food or wine.

The process of making their puddings is environmentally friendly. They have won the first ever Golden Egg award from the RSPCA for kind to animal and using all Free Range eggs. They also have won the inaugural Food Challenge award for Australian Sustainable Manufacturer. Every pudding is individually made by hand, weighed out and shaped, tied with string and boiled in the cloth in coppers for many hours before being hung on the line to dry, age and mature.
