PROFESSIONAL BAKING COMPETITION

Calling all professional bakers, baking apprentices/trainees and enrolled TAFE students. The 2022 Royal Adelaide Show Professional Baking Competition is your chance to test your skill against others in your industry and promote your bakery to the Royal Adelaide Show audience.

With classes covering breads, savoury pastries, patisserie, sweet goods, gluten free and best bakery lunch. There is sure to be a class to showcase your favourite products or something special just for the Show.

All exhibits will be judged by individuals from within the industry against several criteria as outlined in the Schedule.

The competition for the best bakery lunch is a highly contested award that showcases product that is always on offer at your bakery and will comprise two items, one savoury and one sweet. It is the baker’s choice to select products to entice and impress the judges.

The Competition Schedule is your source of all important information, so if you are new to the competition or have been involved before make sure you take the time to read through the schedule.

Entries close on Friday 22 July at 5pm CST so don’t delay, get your entries in now.

Please ensure that you have read the Professional Baking Competition Schedule before you submit your entries. To complete your application online, you must supply your credit card details. MasterCard or Visa. Unfortunately, we do not accept American Express and Diners Cards.
