The Royal Adelaide Show has a full smorgasbord on offer where you will find something to satisfy and please the tastebuds.

The range is huge and spread across every corner of the Showground. From the moment you walk in past the SkyMaster Wheel you will be tempted by the sights and smells of food, glorious food.

There is something for the family, the foodie, the fussy eater, the health conscious and the budget conscious. ESSENTIALS 8 A meal, a snack, a treat and a refreshing beverage to wash it all down there is something to be found. Follow your senses to find your fix.

Grab your list of catering sites from the Show website preevent or an on-site kiosk and plan your food must-haves like you would your showbags and rides.

CATERING PRECINCTS – A range of options nestled together.

Kingsway (E8-F8)

The premiere food court is undergoing a major facelift in 2018. As always since its introduction in 2009, there’ll be quality meals you have come to expect but there is always something new.

Atrium Food Court (L7-N7)

The undercover food court between the Goyder and Wayville pavilions offers a wide range of options for the whole family. Family Value Pack vouchers can be redeemed at Atrium Food outlets.

Boulevard Precinct (H4-H6)

The Boulevard precinct nestled amongst the trees and surrounded by lush lawns will be the place to relax and refresh with a mix of old favourites and new outlets. It is the perfect spot to stop and grab a bite to eat.

FEATURE OPTIONS – Special offerings in 2018

The Bull Bar (G14)

The Bull Bar is the perfect spot to relax in the afternoon and take in some of the sights, sounds and action of the Main Arena. Open to the public daily from 11.30am.

Red Dove Café (L15)

Run by the Uniting Church, the Red Dove Cafe has settled into their new home, nestled between the horses and dairy cattle. Hearty meals, cosy dining room and warm service with a smile. Open for breakfast, lunch and an early dinner as well as anytime in between.

Arena Lounge – Dining and Unwinding (F10)

Open to the public - you can drop in for a beverage or grab a bite to eat. Pub style dining is available for lunch and dinner with all-day options.

Jubilee Café & Golden North (J7)

The Jubilee Café is the hub of the Showground year round and at Showtime it transforms into the home of the ever popular $3 toasties. Golden North will be right next door and is offering a cheap and cheerful $2.50 soft serve cone plus much, much more.

Dietary Requirements

For those with dietary requirements there are vegetarian, vegans, gluten free or dairy free options on offer. Check out this page closer to the Show for a comprehensive list of options or see the friendly volunteers at the Show Kiosks during your visit.

Taste SA

TasteSA is one of the State’s greatest showcases of quality products grown and produced across the State. Products on offer include confectionery, condiments, olive oil, smallgoods, baked goods, honey, pasta and wine.

CELLAR DOOR EXPERIENCE

Location: Taste SA – Foodland Pavilion (enter from the Kingsway) (C9)

Wine Session Times: Daily @ 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm, & 5.30pm

Beer & Cider Tasting Times: Daily @ 6.30pm

Olive Oil Tasting Times: Daily @ 10.45am, 11.30am, 12.15pm 

Wine: An initiative of the South Australian Wine Industry Association (SAWIA), in conjunction with the Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society, the Cellar Door Experience offers five FREE, 20 minute educational wine tasting presentations each day. The Cellar Door Experience partners with other Show exhibitors, to include food and wine pairing in two of the five sessions.

Attendees get to sample up to four wines in each session, guided by a professional wine educator and an SA food ambassador. This is a great way to learn about wine in a relaxing setting, and to discover more about South Australia’s diverse wine and food producing regions.

Beer or Cider: FREE Tasting sessions will offer an overview of characteristics and styles from industry experts. See if you have what it takes to judge top exhibits from the Royal Adelaide Beer and Cider Awards. Learn about the different characteristics, styles and varieties of your favourite beers and ciders, the fermentation process and enjoy tasting five varieties.

Olive Oil: Three FREE tasting and education sessions on how to appreciate the best of SA Olive Oil.

All free Cellar Door Experience education sessions are limited to 40 people per session, they are offered on a first in, best dressed basis.

DAIRY FOOD HALL
Milk Bar sponsored by Fleurieu Milk

The Dairy Food Hall is the place where visitors can sample plenty of dairy products such as cheese, yoghurt and ice-cream from a range of dairy companies showcasing their produce including B-d Farm Paris Creek, Golden North, Andersen’s, Gelista, Mini Melts, Wendys, Jalna Dairy Foods and Westhaven Dairy, The Yoghurt Shop and Farmers Union Iced Coffee. Cheese Toasties for $3 are also available.

The old-fashioned Milkshakes continue to be on offer. Fleurieu Milk have moved their stand adjacent to the Milk Bar, to showcase their range of products in this new fully themed northern area of the hall and will be part of the Yellow Brick Road.

GOYDER PAVILION

This area is a popular feature and once again it will present an abundance of delights to see, try and buy. The aromas, flavours and colourful displays will tempt and entice you to visit the food, wine and coffee stalls to taste as you go. This is just the place to appease the hungry hordes with a “take home pack” of your favourite gourmet food or wine.

Chilli Factory

A family business run and operated by Marcel, Connie and Alex de Wit. A must for your taste buds and so far they have already won more than 150 plus major awards nationally and internationally and the list is still growing. All products have fresh natural 100% Australian grown chillies. No artificial flavours or preservatives are used. There is no MSG added to their sauces and chutneys and most products are 100% gluten free. They were the Guinness World Record holders of the Hottest Chilli in the World 2011, 2012, 2013!!

Tea Tonic

Tea Tonic has Australia’s healthiest range of herbal teas. Sample their “COMPLEXION TEA”.
